We made a special trip on our roadtrip after reading the reviews and we are SO happy we did! I ordered the pulled pork & brisket with creamed jalepeno corn & potato salad. All four items were exceptional (best brisket I have ever had). My husband had ribs and brisket with the creamed jalepeno corn & slaw. He could not stop talking about how delicious everything was! He loved the hot barbecue sauce! We recommend! This is a must!!

Had the two meat plate sliced brisket and ribs, both were amazing. I like how they don't sauce up the meat you can just dip a little in the hot panther sauce which was great. The pulled pork sandwich was excellent. For the sides the creamy jalapeño corn is a must get and the potato salad was good.

Overall rating and is it worth a visit: 8.75 to 9/10 and Yes. Tyler's was the first stop of on our BBQ road trip, where we were hitting 19 BBQ pits across 6 states over 13 days. Having been featured on several TV shows, barbecue books, and being given general recommendations from other enthusiasts I've talked to, we had high hopes after our 7 hour drive from Denver. Rolling up and starting in the parking lot, we were hit with a nice smell of smoke as we walked in. Upon entering, the smoke smell still lingers in the most pleasant of ways, as you wrap around to the right and order cafeteria style, with a friendly staff ready to assist you. Typical Texas beers and soft drinks are available, plus tea and sweet tea stations too. Very traditional BBQ ambiance, that makes for a fun atmosphere to enjoy your order, which comes served on the typical butcher paper atop metal trays. There’s also an outdoor seating area as well, with plenty of picnic tables available for groups of all sizes. As far as the meal and meats themselves, I would say it is pretty comparable to the one I had at Evie Mae’s BBQ on my last visit, and is a solid first or second option if you are in northern Texas and cravi

Tylers came highly recommended through local online sources. Apparently they have been ranked in the Top 50 BBQ joints in Texas. We've eaten at quite a few Texas BBQ restaurants and to be blatantly honest, it was just MEH...!!! It smelled amazing outside in the parking lot. Maybe they were having an off night, it was Wednesday, not a Friday or Saturday evening. The atmosphere is amazing, the service was above par, and the Brisket was phenomenal. Unfortunately, the sides, pulled pork and beef ribs had been just ok, nothing to write home about. Lacked that smokey flavor, too light on the seasoning, and just served warmed to room temp, not hot. Dessert, we both had the Peach Cobbler which was amazingly. Add a dollop of vanilla ice cream and a hint of cinnamon or caramel and you have an award winning dessert. We both decided fairly quickly it isn't a place we'd take our out of state guests to show off what true authentic Texas BBQ is supposed to be. Its a great local hangout, but apart from that lacked luster.

We just had an outstanding supper at Tyler’s BBQ! The pulled pork and brisket were expertly smoked. The sides were delicious and perfectly aligned with the BBQ. The service was friendly, and the staff took some time to discuss their BBQ techniques with us. These people know BBQ and are at the top of the game!
